Use the command line option -multiInst each time you open NotePad++.

So, "notepad++.exe -multiInst" (without the quotes).

Best rgds,

Hello! Thank you for the great program! I use it every day and enjoy it!
I'd like there to be a similar to Tab Mix Plus extension for Firefox options
page, the main features are:

- Allow to show all the tabs in some rows.
- Allow to set the maximum tab width.
- Allow to close a tab with a close button, displayed for every tab.
- Remember the window, was previously highlighted and restore it when the
current
is closed.

Also it would be useful to add some more features:
- To display a summary of a file when a mouse is over the tab.
- The list of windows is limited and it is very inconvenient, when working with
lots of files.
- I guess, it would be more convenient if tabs will display path to file with
small symbols for ease of navigation.
- Or the tree with files and folders might work in 2 modes: full and when
unopened
files and folders are hidden with ease switching.

Thank you again!

Also it would be really useful to make something like sessions or desktops:
when the opened files list might be saved in multiple different sessins and
restored easily.

Call it as you like, but projects sound too slow for me. :D I like notepad++
as a developer's tool for the speed. I don't want it to become a slow monster
who slows up the developing process.
