Hi
You have to make a column selection of 0 character and do what you want. There
will be no cursor to materialised your 0 character selection but it will be
working fine

I think so too.
Do you memorized the last filter selected to satisfy those who allays wants
to auto add extension without to reselect at each time they reopen the dialog
box or notepad++.

No it is just a text editor but you could use run (F5) or npp exec to lauch
a compiler with arguments from notepad++ to compile your file

Hopefully ! Otherwise it would be painful to adjust it again and again. Thank
you Don for using your brain.

IYou said you followed the instructions but if you had to add user32.lib
afterwards
you clearly did not.
the following lifted directly from the link I gave you
AdditionalDependencies="kernel32.lib user32.lib gdi32.lib winspool.lib
comdlg32.lib
advapi32.lib shell32.lib ole32.lib oleaut32.lib uuid.lib"

Wonder if the person begging to have this implimented donated anything to the
development or finished effort? It seems to me that if it saves them so much
time they would now be earning more money using this plugin.

Subject: [Notepad-plus-plus] np++ w/remote xdebug problems
To: [email protected]
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
I feel like I'm oh so close...
trying to get a remote debug setup of xdebug talking
to np++, I believe my current road block is that when
I launch the debugger in np++ (plugins/DBGp/Debugger)
and when the bottom panel appears I cannot get
anything but a "Disconnected" message
my setup:
host is a FreeBSD system running PHP 5.1.2. Not sure
if it matters but I'm accessing the server via a VPN
(OpenVPN client). I've got xdebug installed and
available, the logo box shows "Zend Engine v2.1.0,
Copyright (c) 1998-2006 Zend Technologies
with Xdebug v2.0.0, Copyright (c) 2002, 2003,
2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, by Derick Rethans"
I've got the php settings for xdebug inside my apache
config file and they appear to be getting picked up
correctly when I look at a phpinfo() output page. if
I change a value in the list below and restart the
apache server phpinfo() shows me the updated value so
I'm feeling confident that xdebug is setup correctly.
php_value xdebug.remote_enable 1
php_value xdebug.remote_handler dbgp
php_value xdebug.remote_mode req
php_value xdebug.remote_host 192.168.64.71
php_value xdebug.remote_port 20099
php_value cgi.force_redirect 0
php_value xdebug.idekey default
php_value xdebug.remote_log
/home/miked/var/log/xdebug.log
php_value xdebug.show_exception_trace 0
php_value xdebug.show_local_vars 9
php_value xdebug.show_mem_delta 0
php_value xdebug.trace_format 0
notice the non-std port # at 20099 vs 9000. I'm one
of many developers on this system where each developer
instance on the webserver is accessed via ports in the
200xx range. but I've tried chging my developer port
to 9000 and my np++ debugger still doesn't wake up
np++ config:
remote server ip: 192.168.64.71
idekey: <blank>
remote path: /home/miked/htdocs
local path: m:\htdocs
i open np++, open my php file located on the server
(access is via a network drive that i have mounted in
win2kpro thru the VPN), launch the debugger, and see
the "Disconnected" message, I set a breakpoint and in
my browser I load the file with a
?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=session_name param at the end of
the url. no debugging
my xdebug log shows the debugging attempt:
Log opened at 2007-10-20 15:32:53

-> <response xmlns="urn:debugger_protocol_v1"

any help appreciated
Mike
