Don,
Great product. I was wondering if a future enhancement would be to allow
users to add to menu. Maybe a user pulldown that would allow the user to add
their own help files and such.

Pete

Bernie, if that is the last thing then maybe passive mode does not work
correctly
and you can try active mode instead (see the options menu for that), if that
doesnt solve it either it will probably be a much more difficult problem. The
reason you do not see the DIR command (or LIST as it actually is) is bevcause
the connection that has to be created before sending the LIST command cannot
be made.

Nico, the problem is that the user uses a different format of listing files
than the plugin expects, so no files are listed. Unfortunatly, there is nothing
you can do at the moment. I will see if I can fix the problem in a later version
but untill then I'm afraid you have to use some alternative

Very nice!

I had quite a few problems with the "auto add extension" behaviour, especially
since User Defined language styles aren't even in the list of possible
extensions.
It's quite annoying to have to save all your template files as text files first,
then renaming them and reloading them in the editor.

Add your extension under the *.* filter.
It allows user to save file with their customized extension.

A tip for those ones want to save html file with extension .htm in stead of
.html :
Edit langs.xml, find the tag with name="html", then make ext="htm html" instead
of ext="html htm".
Save langs.xml, quit Notepad++ then relaunch it.

Of course, the similar manipulation works for witch ever supported language.

Thanks for the new Version.

In this new Version i can?t open my old Session files! I had to reopen and
save again!
Also i can?t edit those files? Only first rename to .txt and then edit?

I keep hoping for the regular expression bug fix every release (replacing ^
and $), but it does not seem like it's happening. Too bad.

Hi Don,

>> I just add that it could be could to add virtual space system to be able
to add character wih a vertical alignment. An example of that could be:
>> Original text
>> signal1
>> sig2
>> lonsignal3
>> After inserting with column mode ( a "_" represant a space)
>> signal1______=> ;
>> sig2_________=> ;
>> lonsignal3___=> ;

> The approach you suggest is difficult to implement, and make a low performance
issue.

Might be true, but he's right - it would feel natural and intuitive. I always
wondered why I wasn't able to select real blocks - line endings included. I
also had several times the need to add a new block behind all line endings.
With Ultraedit no problem: column mode, select empty block behind all line
endings
and start entering text -> voil?. Otherwise it's a pain to get the right amount
of spaces behind each line...

(this is especially cool for creating scripts files with several equal cmds,
only differing in the name of the files which are handled, and the length of
the name - of course)

Best regards, and many thanks again for this editor! :)

Ralph Gutmann.
