It seems to me that the explorer plugin causes once in a time a 99% CPU usage.
I like this plugin and hope you will resolve the troubles with the CPU usage.

The html to plain text convert doesn't work.
(this is a great idea)
The unclean foreign characters is very nice as well.

I forgot to ask and it mayt be important, does this still occur when you disable
ftp_synchronize by removing the plugin (leaving the rest exactly as it is).
Its probably FTP_synchronize but I'd like to be sure if I find time to debug
this :)
It does mean you temporarily have to switch to another client.
