I have the same promlem with Notepad++ + FunctionList 2.0 . I downgraded to
FunctionList 1.2 and the issue was resolved.

that can also be done just go to the styler configurator and select the language
you want to edit select the style of this laguage to which you want to add a
keyword
for eg: if you want to add keyword 'fsum' to math instruction style in assembler
select 'MATH INSTRUCTION' in the style column and add the word 'fsum' to the
user defined keyword list at the bottom right column.

Scintilla already supports other platforms, it's the Notepad++ codebase that
is Windows-specific.
There are several Scintilla-based editors that do run on other platforms,
including
Mac. Here's one that I use on Linux, but google for others:

Dear Musketeers,
We use Notepad in an environment, where user has minimum access to various
folders.
We updated to Notepad++ to the version 4.7.5. We lost the user defined syntax
highlighting, allthough the old userDefineLang.xml document is present in the
program directory.
My questions are:
1) Did you change the way the preferences --- including user defined syntax
highlighting --- are stored?
2) How can we apply same user defined syntax hihglighting options to every user
in the workstation?

Hi,
I'd like to request this feature. When I override a file's language setting
and then close the file, the last language setting should be remembered when
the file is opened again (if it is in the recent files list).

I have the same problems:
Notepad was using 99% of cpu.
I did a reboot and everything goes fine.
I didn't remove the explorer.dll
Without the explorer plugin Notepad++ is not interesting for me.
Will there be a new explorer plugin soon?
