I like the new smart highlighting feature in NP++, but it would be absolutely
marvelous to be able to similarly select and edit text in multiple locations
simultaneously.
This functionality is present in e-texteditor (click "Watch screencast"
at http://www.e-texteditor.com/ ), and makes editing multiple variable names
a breeze. You just select multiple words in the editor (holding down CTRL),
and start typing. The text gets typed in on all selections.

Yes, this problem is more evident with some fonts, but other don't have it,
or it's just a little. Pity, i liked that Comic MS, was very nice; so i hope
they really will fix it, if it's possible.

Ok, thanks for the help, everyone!
The speed difference in Kedit and Notepad++ is huge, this search and replace
action takes a second or s in Kedit and well over a minute in Notepad++, but
it did work...

Like Amadawn, I would like to see the functionality of the "Find all in all
opened documents" applied to just the current document. Among other things
I use this editor to look through large log files and sometimes have several
open at once. I would like to be able to use this functionality on just one
of these files if I want.
I appreciate the work-around suggestions, here are so many cool ways to do
things
with this editor!

I save my files in .txt form. But when I want to save a new file it gives the
option Save As Type: All Types (*.*). I should each time scroll down to select
save as type Normal Text (*.txt). How do I set Save As Type to Normal Text as
default like in Notepad?
I have disabled all languages but still the option [All Types (*.*)] is there.
Help is appreciated.
