You could run regedit and delete the key for this -- others here will know
exactly
which one -- but you could also uninstall Npp and reinstall without Explorer
context menu support -- just uncheck it.
IIRC :-)
Best wishes
I

Hello
We work on a oooBasic and the files is like the attach files
N++ is exelent editor...
It will very conenient to open xba and xlb files like oo IDE, and edit
source code.
Of cource this is very difficult we thing. OoIDE is not very convenient
for edit like n++.
Olso if n++ supports ooBasic will very nice.
Thank's
Jim

I haven't had these issues before, but ever since last week when I updated to
4.9.2 I have been getting a whole lot of extra junk appended after the text
I actually paste.
The look varies greatly, but usually looks similar to this:

I didn't have a machine with only Acrobat Reader to test on.
But I think I see the problem now.
I will upload a fix ASAS I have a chance to work on it.
Regards,
Franco

I had the same issue. What solved my problem was to use the last v 5.0 RC which
you can find in the topic "Notepad++ v5 RC". This release dont have this issue.

The "ASP Syntax Highlighting Bug" is still in version 5. I wouldn't mind the
ASP bug if Notepad++ had ERB/rhtml syntax highlighting.

ASP Syntax Highlighting Bug
By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) - 2007-06-11 12:12
I just upgraded Notepad++. The latest version, unlike the older version I was
using, has an ASP has a syntax highlighting bug concerning comments on the same
line as an ending asp tag, such as: <%'Comment%>. The editor will treat the
document like the ending asp tag was never there.

Support for Rails files -mix of html and ruby
By: Greg Lorriman (lorriman) - 2008-01-19 15:53
Hi folks,
I was wondering if support for rhtml files is planned?
It is a mix of html and ruby, rather like php. It is basically html, and one
embeds ruby with opening with <% or <%= and <%=h, and then closing with %> or
-%>. The only restriction I know of is that if you start a comment (with #)
one must close on the next line.
I believe it is as simple as that.
All us Ruby on Rails developers would be very grateful. I use notepad++ even
despite the lack of syntax highlighting.
thanks,
Greg

What is langs.model.xml? How does Notepad++ use langs.model.xml differently
from langs.xml?

Hello,
i have a couple of questions. The language i am using is Ruby.
(1) How do i auto-ident? i want to do something like highlight my code, and
select some menu option to
indent the code properly according to the code blocks.
(2) How can i set it up so that every time i press the 'tab' key, it's
substituted
instead by, say, four
'space' characters.
Thanks alot in advance,
john

As unfortunate as it is, these are Scintilla lexer issues and are beyond the
scope of Notepad++ (atleast, imo).
I suggest to go to the Scintilla project and see if you can report a bug there
(or see if its actually already reported).

langs.model.xml is the backup, in case langs.xml gets corrupted. I believe they
serve as a template as well, so with new installations the recommended settings
are there even though the user might be using something else at the time.
