I dont know if there is a standard utility to do the following in notepad++.
I tried recurse rpl and incremental, but they replace all the data from file
2. anyway please check the following.
Lets suppose I have a page open and am linking to 20 different pages or links.
ex:
<a href = link1.html>
<a href = link2.html>
.
.
Now I have a text file that has the following
txtlink1
txtlink2
.
.
.
Is it possible for me based on a certain identifier to replace link1 with
txtlink1
and link2 with txtlink2
Oh and by the way, just to make it easier, maybe "link1" and "link" could be
s specific string like "?????". so if I have 10 instances of "?????" in my file,
and I have ten lines of text in the other file. Then line 1 from second file
should replace the first instance of "?????" in file1 and second line should
replace second instance of "?????" and so forth..Thanks :-)

Been using Notepad++ for about a week now and two things are *really* annoying
me...
1. Pressing HOME goes to the first character and not the start of the line -
my previous editor allowed me to choose this
2. I've got auto indent turned off yet while writing code the line automatically
shifts to where it *thinks* it should be tabbed to
I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find anything. I'd love to stick with
Notepad++ because there are features I really like but having to re-tab most
of my lines after editing/entering them is starting to get right on my nerves

Hi,
in langs.xml I try to change the commentLine for the ASP language from ' to #
I don't use ASP, I use this mapping when editing rhtml.
rhtml contains Ruby style comments (#).
But editing the langs.xml file and restarting Notepad++ does nothing.
Even removing the commentLine tag does not remove the syntax highlighting for
ASP comments ('), messing the coloring of the end of the line.
Anyone could help ?
