Suggestion: Please allow wrapping to be turned on or off by file/tab. I am
constantly having to change between the two based on the file I'm looking at.
E.g. Text in paragraphs need to be wrapped, so I can read them. Java code is
often difficult to read in wrap, since indentation has meaning.
Thanks for considering this! NP++ is a great tool and I depend on it for my
work. I also foster its use by others I work with. It is invaluable in many
situations, such as working with XML documents.

Just found the v5.2 F11 and F12 crash issue, I confirm both F11 and F12 make
Notepad++ crash while Compare plugin is active (compare 2 documents side by
side).
Remove Compare plugin from Notepad++ Plugins Directory will remedy this
problem.

Hi, I disagree : I removed HexEditor plugin and ..... no more crash. And I have
Compare plugin.
I took a look in shortcuts mapper : F11 Full Screen and F12 Post it.
F11 makes Full screen OK
F12 makes Full screen, but No post it NOK

This might be out of the spectrum for Notpad++. Basically I've had to edit tons
of txt documents which are actually Comma Separated Values. For example the
txt document will look like this. (example only, not real check numbers...)
"BEGDOC#","ENDDOC#","FIRM","INVOICE#","PAIDFROM","CHECK#"
"DDI00013104","DDI00013104","","","DYNAMAKE GRAPHICS GROUP","107742"
"DDI00013105","DDI00013108","PIT PRINTING","31520","",""
"DDI00013109","DDI00013109","","","STATE MUTUAL","253197"
All of the text is black. I would love it if I can get each column a specific
color that matches the header. This would help elminiate human error. I've been
able to color the commas, headers, and numbers.
Is what I am trying to do in the spectrum of Notpad++. If so please assist.

Thanks for the links. I gave them a quick look and will research more later.
Initially they look more complex than I need and I hate to spend more time
learning
a system and than to just write the simple tool I need. Kind of a red flag to
me when all a site talks about is how simple they are to use. If it's simple
just tell me the n simple steps. But I will look into these more.

I was facing the same problem. I spent several hours :-( trying to fix this
problem. I uninstalled and then reinstalled notepad++ atleast five to six times.
I removed all the application data from all the users. Still the same result.
After several hours of frustration, I decided to download the zipped binary
version. It worked just fine. I finally decided that I'll use that instead of
the installer version. After some time, I realised I can no longer open a file
in notepad++ by right clicking on its icon. So I decided to give one last try.
I unselected all the plugins during install except for nppTextFX. It worked
just fine. Then I copied all the plugin data and application data from the
unicode
version of the zipped binary and transferred it into the respective folders
of the installed notepad++. Now surprisingly, textfx again became a flat menu
inside the plugins menu. Then I deleted nppNetNote.dll from the plugins menu
of the installed version and TextFX appeared in its own menu.
In Short: Delete nppNetNote.dll from the plugins folder everything will run
just fine. Enjoy.
