I could not reproduce this, so I still believe you may want to review your
colour
options from the dialog box to configure highlighting.
Btw, I noticed that background on the current line was respected in html, but
not in C, or in Euphoria (an UDL).
Can someone point me to why there is a difference between HTML an C behaviours?

If the file to be printed is one printing page long, then you can take a
snapshot
of the screen and print that, switching to Fullscreen/Post-it view prior. There
are may free capture utilities around.
Now what should happen on the second page, if there is any? Should the image
of the tabs be printed on each page? Only on first page? What do you want to
achieve?

This sould be easy for you guys but it would really help.
I?m a joomla and phpbb translator, I would like to see my joomla ini file like
the string included and before = to be in a diffrent color than the actual sting
that I?m suppose to translate.
This is a example of joomla ini language file string:
SEARCH=Leita
SEARCH BUTTON=Leitartakki
SEARCH BUTTON AS IMAGE=Leitar takki sem mynd
If SEARCH would be green for example and = is orange by defult in ini,
everything
else just black. Each string is seperated by new line.
Can someone make this for me and maybe for the other 100+ that are translating
Joomla?

1. A Chinese word will change to unrecognizable character while it's draged
and selected in half.
2. Cannot search Chinese with "find in files". If you want to make it works,
"match case" must be checked! and the find result must have one or two
RED unrecognizable characters in each line.

Thanks for the new HexEditor 0.9.3 releas which fixes the redrawing issue when
using "Go to another view" in Notepad++ 5.3.
I spotted a minor issue which causes Notepad++ to crash when you have no
document
opened yet activate the HexEditor plugin and press "Go to another view". This
crashes Notepad++ with an Win32Exception:
Code: 0xC0000005
Type: Access violation
Exception address: 0x0203760E
Note this only happens when you have not entered any characters.

Hi all,
Hopefully the community can provide some opinions on the features listed below
as well as any comparison with how other editors with change markings handle
the described testing ( below the feature list ), as well as if you like that
output better.

Preparing to release the alpha of a ChangeMarker plugin with the following
features:
1. Custom margin icons - you can create a custom icon to place in the margin
to indicate saved/un-saved changes in a third party app ( like the free
Greenfish
icon editor ).
2. Control over the color of both saved and un-saved markers when using any
of the built-in Scintilla markers, or as a line highlighter.
3. Control over change marker placement -
- to the left of the line-numbers as a vertical line
- in the same margin as bookmarks.
- in the plugin marker margin ( closest to the left of the text area ).
4. Ability to jump through the un-saved changed lines in a document:
- Jump up/down to next un-saved changed line.
- Jump to previous/next un-saved changed line ( in the order changes happened
).
5. Ability to dis-able change markers, both on a per document or global level.
*6. (This isn't done yet but should be before release ) Ability to view all
un-saved changed lines in a view similar to the 'Find in all documents' output.
Also, to be included is a plugin to control the display of the plugin marker
margin per view. So you could have view one show markers and view 2 either
show them as highlights, or change the highlight color to match the background
and not see them unless you need to later.
Here is a comparison of the alpha line change marking when compared to the
built-in
markers and the Visual Studio IDE:
I tested in three areas:
Npp5.2 ( which is what I?ve been developing against )
Npp5.3
Visual Studio C++
Starting with a single document of 50 lines, which was copied to empty no-named
?new? buffers in each app.
Lines 10 ? 20 ( start of line of 20 ) => cut
Lines 20 -25 ( start of line of 25) selected and pasted over
File save. For some reason the first time I did this in Npp5.3 it got stuck
at 100% cpu and I manually killed it; in three more tests it didn?t do it
again?
Now here is where some differences show up:
Undo 1:
Npp5.3 markers not shown for lines 20-25.
Plugin markers show the markers for lines 20-24 as unsaved,
and 25 as saved.
VC++ shows the marks as saved.
Undo 2:
Npp5.3 markers not shown for lines 10-20.
Plugin markers show the markers for lines 10-19 as unsaved and
20 as saved.
VC++ shows the marks as saved.
Undo 3:
Npp5.3 un-saved marker on line 1.
Plugin markers not showing.
VC++ markers not showing.
Redo 1:
Npp5.3 shows all lines with un-saved marker.
Plugin shows 10 - 19 & 30 ? 34 as unsaved, with the rest
saved.
VC++ shows all as saved.
Redo 2:
Npp5.3 shows all lines with un-saved marker.
Plugin shows 20 ? 24 as un-saved.
VC++ shows line 10 as saved change and no marker on the rest.
? WTF ?
Re-Save:
Npp5.3 shows all lines saved.
Plugin shows all lines saved.
VC++ shows line 10 as saved.
Redo 3:
Npp5.3 shows 20 ? 30 as un-saved.
Plugin shows all as saved. < I?m working on a fix for this. >
VC++ shows 10 and 20 ? 31 as saved.
Undo 1:
Undo 2:
Npp5.3 shows 10 ? 20 & 30 ? 35 with no markers and the rest
as saved.
Plugin shows 10 ? 19 as un-saved.
VC++ shows all as saved.
