When is it too wide, and how? It dynamically resizes to accommodate line
numbers,
and has room for a minimum of 3 digits. If it didn't, the margin would
distractingly
resize whether you are viewing ine 10 or not.
You can always set the font to the minimum size in Settings -> Preferences ->
Styler Configurator -> Global styles, Line number margin.
The bookmark margin stands next to the line number margin, and has the same
colour - this cannot be changed. Perhaps what you think is an oversize line
number margin is simply the bookmark margin, which you can toggle from Settings
-> Preferences -> Edit Components -> Display bookmark margin. Note that this
setting is on a per view basis.

I have no idea how to fix this issue. I have no issues printing within other
apps but printing in Notepad++ is an automatic paper jam.

Thanks for your reply. Is there any option in Notepad++ to chainsaw... like
load n MBs max in one go and then fetch next if needed?

What happens if you didn't replace the four "notepad.exe"'s in the right order?

Thank you! This is exactly what I requested for.
Seems Foxit Reader does not provide the ability to open a document with
searching
for a specified word, so your current implementation seems to be the best as
possible.

Hi
I'm the author of what I think was the first colour picker plugin. I've tried
to contact people about this, but no one seems to reply.
Historically there have been quite a few colour picker plugins. I've seen one
like mine that was written in Delphi, there's one on the wiki (which is
attributed
to me) which people keep telling me doesn't work with unicode notepad++, and
I recall there being another one somewhere too.
I've got an updated version of my plugin which works everywhere (as far as I
know), which I'd like to put somewhere. I don't know if anyone's maintaining
the version that's on the wiki (it doesn't seem to have been updated this year).
What's the least confusing way to sort this out?
Thanks,
Matthew Edwards

Matthew,
Great to hear there's a unicode version of this. If you post a message here
with a URL to the ANSI and Unicode versions, then people can download it.
Then, if this is truly a new version of the plugin on the wiki, then update
the wiki with the new version. If it's not the same one, then add it (or I or
someone else will) to the wiki list.
If you've not got somewhere to put it, by all means email it to me and I'll
put it somewhere downloadable.
Once there's permanent download links, I'll also add it into the plugin manager
list.
Cheers,
Dave.

Obviously there was a problem as two plugins with the same name were sybmitted
somehow.
The one on the wiki is featured on the npp-plugins project. I just checked the
Delphi sources, and its author id's as Don Rowlett, n email link provided.
I'm going to change this right now. The implication is that your plugin is not
referenced on the wiki, so it will be a new entry.
Please visit the wiki a couple days before updating Plugin Central. Giving write
rights to people is a manual process, so it requires some time for me to spot
you and promote you as Editor. This is a SF policy, not the project's, sorry
about the inconvenience.
As Dave mentioned, the wiki needs a download link for your plugin.
Additionally, if you can figure wat was the 3rd colour plugin, thn please
contact
me about it or add it as well!
CChris

Nope at this point. However, there are pleny of free, reliable utilities on
the Net that will do it. I didn't check, but I believe some will be smart enough
to cut files at line breaks - I had an old DOS tool that was doing it, so I
assume ithe functionality is available.
