John Vines commented on ACCUMULO-1438: -------------------------------------- Moving modules around breaks backwards compatibility, so it's something that we don't normally do without some sort of deprecation cycle. It may be different for MAC, because of the use cases for it. However, we were also trying to hold off on making changes to trunk from 1.5.x until 1.5.1 or so to prevent tree conflicts, simply to make merging things between versions simpler. I think this was shortly before you arrived, so you might have missed the memo. I'm not quite sure how we want to proceed from here, since the 1.5.0 RC4 candidate hasn't passed (though it looks like it will). > Move MiniAccumuloCluster & Runner packaging to it's own module. > --------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: ACCUMULO-1438 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-1438 > Project: Accumulo > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: mini > Reporter: Corey J.
