@dlmarion - Have you tried running before and after bench marks with this change using https://github.com/dtspence/accumulo-jmh-test ? I'm curious what the difference is and whether we still need to actually avoid the validation entirely or if we can bring it back if this is fast enough. Also, even though my change in #3502 changes things to avoid the validation entirely when not needed by not loading the ReferencedTabletFile, we still need to validate in MetadataConstraints (#3505 and #3506) so any optimization would be still worthwhile. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
