Agreed that it can go anywhere. I tried to set the system property in the pom using a maven plugin and it didn't work. The point at which Maven tried to resolve the dependencies was before the plugin executed, even in the `initialize` phase. If you can figure out how to do it in the pom, that would be great. Also, I targeted the main branch only, and not 2.1, since we are pretty late in the development cycle. I wasn't sure what risks might be associated with bumping the parent pom version and figured that doing it on main only was safe. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
