This is excellent, but is it relevant?
1. this works with all of the plugins in my current application with no
breakage (that I can tell).
Grails-core doesn't depend on external plugins. My internal application is
using plugins across github.com/grails-plugins, github.com/gpc, custom (and
nested) plugins, core plugins, & several apache grails-spring-security plugins.
I'm just pointing out that I've regression tested these changes to limit the
impact given the scope of them.
