Spring Framework 7's `HttpHeaders` still does not implement `MultiValueMap`. A Grails 7 plugin compiled against Spring 6 can still boot and then throw `IncompatibleClassChangeError` when it passes `HttpHeaders` to an API that expects `MultiValueMap`. Changing only the application's dependencies does not repair that bytecode. The upgrade note requested here is in section 23.5, "Spring Framework 7 HttpHeaders binary incompatibility": https://grails.apache.org/docs/8.0.x/guide/upgrading.html#_23_5_spring_framework_7_httpheaders_binary_incompatibility Recompile against Spring Framework 7 and use the `HttpHeaders` constructor. Remove an explicit `MultiValueMap` cast so `new HttpEntity(body, headers)` selects `HttpEntity(T, HttpHeaders)` instead of `HttpEntity(T, MultiValueMap)`. Upgrade to a plugin release built for Grails 8. That section landed in https://github.com/apache/grails-core/pull/16141 (`2c8b338f1ce`, 2026-08-12) and is in `v8.0.0-M6`, `v8.0.0-RC1`, and `v8.0.0-RC2`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
