The gradle-developer skill records how this repository handles it: the library modules always compile with invokedynamic, grails-common must not declare groovy-callsite, the -PgrailsIndy=false lanes get the module from grails-extension-gradle-config with the version read from dependencies.gradle applied to the root, and Forge ignores the flag.
