It said respond answers an XML request without grails-xml with a 404 with no body, where the 404 and the 406 are sent as errors, so the application's error pages apply. It now also says that a ProblemDetail is written through Spring whatever the settings, that legacy XML conversion leaves with grails.web.rendering.xml.spring in Grails 11, and that a factory bean named validationProblemDetailFactory needs bean definition overriding.
