Hi Dominik,
Adding it as an extension was my original intention. The new naming scheme
suits me as well. I would like to contribute this to the ASF log4net project
and I can continue to maintain the code. There are three different pieces of
code in my repository working together. I propose adding only the json layout
for now. The stamps and keep alive appender can be addressed later and live in
separate extensions. Do we have a component for extensions? Would you prefer
"Other" over "Core"?
Things have changed since my last attempt. I'm happy to see that log4net moved
to GIT. How do I contribute?
