The simple solution is to modify the log message to be a warning instead of an 
error. If it fails as a URL then it tries it as a file. 

FWIW this error could be avoided by specifying it as 
{code}
-Dlog4j.configurationFile=file:///D:/project/build/install/project/config/log4j2.xml
