In the javadoc, the sentence "To enable automatic inheritance of _copies_ of
the MDC to newly created threads, enable the Log4j system property. " makes no
sense at
[https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/log4j-api/apidocs/org/apache/logging/log4j/ThreadContext.html]
The problem is that \{@value DefaultThreadContextMap#INHERITABLE_MAP} is not
valid javadoc at
[https://github.com/apache/logging-log4j2/blob/master/log4j-api/src/main/java/org/apache/logging/log4j/ThreadContext.java#L45]
