The base64 lookup feature is not available for log4j 2.x, yet it appears in
docs in
[PropertySubstitution|https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/configuration.html#PropertySubstitution]
section (first row in the table).
Not sure what was the reason to add the docs without the code change. I suggest
removing the documentation for base64 variable substitution from 2.x releases
if the feature is not available yet. I was misled (LOG4J2-3478), so correction
would be helpful.
