Piotr Karwasz updated LOG4J2-3605:
----------------------------------
    Description:
Since users expect the SLF4J-to-Log4j2 bridge to have a runtime dependency on
{{log4j-core}}, we might at least discuss whether the Log4j2-to-SLF4J bridge
should have a runtime dependency on {{logback-classic}}.

As I see it, the situation is (almost) perfectly symmetrical. The only logging
backend supported by SLF4J, but not Log4j2 is the deprecated Log4j
1.x/Reload4j. I guess we should not take this into account.

With the exclusion above and excluding {{java.util.logging}}, the
Log4j2-to-SLF4J bridge can only be used with Logback.
