OK. I think I understand your concerns WRT tooling and I will do what I can to address that. FWIW, I don't believe using the ThreadContext's ThreadLocal would help in that at all. As for the snampshot, again I don't have any idea why you would want the whole stack of Maps for a ScopedContext.
