## Description `ConsoleAppender` documentation suggests that `immediateFlush` attribute for `ConsoleAppender` is configurable: > If set to `true`, the appender will flush its internal buffer and the buffer of the `System.out`/`System.err` stream after each log event. > > See [Buffering](https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/appenders.html#buffering) for more details. > See: https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/appenders.html#ConsoleAppender Yet it is harcoded in constructor by passing `true` when calling super: ```java private ConsoleAppender( final String name, final Layout<? extends Serializable> layout, final Filter filter, final OutputStreamManager manager, final boolean ignoreExceptions, final Target target, final Property[] properties) { super(name, layout, filter, ignoreExceptions, true, properties, manager); this.target = target; } ``` If it is not a bug and this attribute is not supposed to be configurable, that should be stated in documentation. ## Configuration **Version:** 2.26.1 -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
