Use the MongoDB driver to parse and validate the sink configuration. - Read the database and collection names from the connection string when they are not configured explicitly. - Validate connection strings, database names, default collections, and mapped collections with MongoDB's own validators. - Report configuration errors with the property that supplied the invalid value. - Add positive and negative tests for configuration precedence, defaults, and validation failures.
