Thanks for the clear report and the reproducer. I ran it here and see the
same loss with Disruptor 4 on 2.25.3, 2.26.1 and `2.x`, and none with Disruptor
3.
I opened #NNNN with a fix. `getEventRoute` now checks for shutdown
directly instead of using a negative capacity. With it, your program loses no
lines on Disruptor 4.
Could you try the PR build in your server and confirm the loss is gone?
You can build it with `./mvnw install -pl log4j-core -am -DskipTests` on the PR
branch and use
`2.27.0-SNAPSHOT`.
