@plusterkopp, thanks for spotting the idle `RollingFileManager` threads in
#4356. They come from #4165, and this PR fixes them.
If you are interested, could you try this PR in your server? You can build
it the same way as before, on this PR's branch:
`./mvnw install -pl :log4j-api-java9,:log4j-core-java9,:log4j-core -am
-DskipTests`
With it, the threads should end about a second after each rollover. No
pressure if you do not have time.
