GitHub user priyanahata edited a comment on the discussion: Can a plugin
verification be lost. I mean once a version is verified can it become
unverified?

@matthiasblaesing @neilcsmith-net I removed the "hotfix" and i havent deployed
or touched the plugin portal since 28.1.0, kovalsky verified it like 4 days
agon and this morning i saw "verification failed again" that is the latest
stable version and i am getting very positive feedback from people who tried it
and no bug reports.

Is there anything wrong with 28.1.0? is there any way to remove the "old"
versions from the plugin portal? (like all the 28.0.x)? or is it more like "I
don't like you"? or "we don't like you".

I know we can host our own update center and do a plugin to install our own
update center. I am very aware of that option. I just want to know why this
last verification failed and if you consider i have taken the corrective
actions since your last feedback or what is the deal as to how to "what can be
deployed to the normal plugin portal".

- remove the "hotfix", (i removed it)
- "the request for verification should only be for the latest version" (its
the latest)
- "not too many requests for verification" (i havent done any more or touched
the plugin portal since 28.1.0 and one of the volunteers had already verified
it)

I am trying to make a living with this, been working on this full time since
last august and i havent made a cent yet. for me it would be better that the
user could just do "install" a major version and that's it. And then yeah, i
can tell users who request features to install minor versions manually from
github. I dont see anything on the web about what the "enhanced checks" would
be or that you cant deploy minor versions to maven central because when you
click refresh on the plugin portal it brings every version across to the plugin
portal and it looks bad.

I havent seen anything on the web in regards to "A plugin that does this may,
for obvious reasons, require some enhanced checks during verification. Short
term, I suggest getting this working via your own infrastructure and making
sure everything is working smoothly.... require some enhanced checks during
verification."

For the "a plugin that installs your update center" and the "enhanced checks"
Are we talking about "a number of enhanced checks that you don't know what
these enhanced checks are so dont go down that track either because i just
don't like you", may i "strongly" "suggest" you "consider" the "option" of
"getting it out of your chest"?
