@neilcsmith-net In the spirit of the inspiration of what the appache foundations describes on the website. I don't think you are working for the benefit of netbeans users. Seems to me that you are putting your own personal "self steem" before the benefit of netbeans users and you should consider asking yourself the following questions. - Am i volunteering for my own personal benefit only or am i volunteering for the benefit of the netbeans users? - Am i volunteering to have "some sort of control" over netbeans? - Am i volunteering to "feel" i am in "position of power"? - Am i "pretending" to care for netbeans users while as a matter of fact i only care about "my own distro"? Everything in the open, public, free, fair and friendly. I understand "honesty" and "sense of humour" are both compatible with being "friendly".
