No email was received as far as I can tell. I reiterate this has nothing to do with the browser choice. It is possible clicking links from the IDE is trying to launch the wrong browser because that is what is set as the default? To download NB 29 you can always just go to https://netbeans.apache.org/ or directly to https://netbeans.apache.org/front/main/download/nb29/ in a browser of your choice. The community installers are packaged using NBPackage. The way this currently works does not support use of `Open With..` on files. I've filed an enhancement - https://github.com/apache/netbeans-nbpackage/issues/133 This might now be doable if someone takes it on. I've moved this to discussions as it is not an issue with the IDE.
