   <!-- Greeting -->
   Hi @shafad1! I'm [Dosu](https://go.dosu.dev/dosubot) and I’m helping the
superset team.

   <!-- Answer -->
   This is a known bug in the latest Superset (v6/master): the "Export to
Pivoted Excel" feature often does not work as expected. If you have multiple
pivot tables on a dashboard, exporting to Excel always exports the first table,
regardless of which one you select. This happens because the export function
targets the first matching table in the DOM, not the one you clicked on. There
are currently no workarounds or configuration options to change this behavior,
and it is confirmed to affect the latest master/dev version
[details](https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/34792).

   If your issue is different (for example, no file is generated at all, or the
file is corrupt), please check your browser console for JavaScript errors or
Superset logs for Python stack traces, as there could be an additional problem.
If you can share any error messages or logs, that would help narrow it down.

   The CSV export works because it uses a different code path and does not try
to preserve the pivot structure. The Excel export is intended to keep the
multi-level column structure, but this bug prevents it from working reliably in
dashboards with multiple pivot tables [feature
background](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/33569).

   Let me know if you see a different failure mode or have error details—I'm
happy to help interpret them.
