Clearing fuzzy entries that can't actually format is an easy yes from me, English with the right values beats a raw `%s` or a 500 every time. One PR for the sweep is fine, no need to split it by language. The English fallback safety net sounds worth doing too, but as its own PR so it can be reviewed on its own.
