Merged master in 5ec25a5726, preserving deterministic grain selection and master's requested-column order. The existing UPDATING.md entry has a stable title and a qualified warning: independent temporal predicates are retained unless replaced by query-axis bounds; time-series offsets and separate inner-bound queries replace ranges on their selected axis ([axis handling](https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/5ec25a5726fe1f4267a2b009a4a5c063ae3c632e/superset/semantic_layers/mapper.py#L623-L677), [inner bounds](https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/5ec25a5726fe1f4267a2b009a4a5c063ae3c632e/superset/semantic_layers/mapper.py#L1191-L1237)). This avoids promising unconditional preservation. Focused tests (1,456 Python, seven Jest) and hooks pass.
