carloea2 opened a new issue, #8791:
URL: https://github.com/apache/texera/issues/8791

   ### What happened?

An all-null sampled column retains the inference helper's INTEGER seed. Text
outside the sample then fails parsing and its entire row is dropped. The null
handling introduced in #7568 changed this column from STRING to INTEGER; later
text should remain intact.

   ### How to reproduce?

Create a CSV with a row ID and a text column. Leave the text column blank in
the first 100 data rows, then add values such as `00042` and `José 東京`. Scan
with inferred types and a 100-row inference sample. The later text row
disappears and numeric-looking text loses leading zeros.

Expected: retain every row and exact text when the sample provides no
non-null type evidence.
