[~aw] - yea, that change looks like a reasonably correct strawman.
might also consider matching {{^\[A-Z]+$}} to get things like {{LICENSE}},
{{COPYING}}, {{BUILDING}}, etc without extensions.
Can catch the rest of the weirdo formats in follow on work?
