It would make sense, indeed -- the only question I could have is that
when one configures mail root, there is enough space for the mail files.
In case of split config one has also ensure that the database location
has enough fs space for the database -- database which consumes as
much space as mail root due to all emails indexed there...

(Had to drop 'Gesh' from recipients, got
 '450 4.1.2 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found'
 and mail was unsent)
