Of course.  You know I hadn't even double-thought to boot to safe mode.
Musta been that first-thing-monday-morning thing :-)

I just let it sail through a repair process and it all ended up going
fine..

That was one of my first thoughts aswell, however logging in with my
Administrator account had no effect.

I think my biggest annoyance was the fact that the error messages were
all so ... horrid.
