I ask this, because I want to use a ntfs partition for /home, so I

My /etc/fstab:

Manipulating Linux file permissions works fine from this.
Great.
So can I use this configuration to have full benefit of a
journalling file system?
No.
So it seems better to use ext4 + Ext2FSD
<http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2fsd> for Windows access.
Any recommendations ?
Ext2FSD doesn't support journaling... so it's no better in that respect.
It also doesn't fully support Ext4 yet (extents, xattrs are unsupported).
(Also, I'm convinced that NTFS-3G is more widely tested and used than
Ext2FSD. Still, I'm sure it's a good project.)
