Can anybody tell me what might cause this error:
Runaway argument? \c!gebied ={\setupsystem [inputfile=rice.tex] \protect
^^^^ command ^^^^ strange
sounds like you set the directory string to some \setupsystem command, are you sure that your file is ok?
