Hi,

As some of you may have noticed ... the latin modern fonts have umlauts. I added a few files to the context zip, so that those who want to see the difference can play with it. Just (un)comment the first line in:

\usetypescript [var] [latin-modern] % supported for texnansi and ec

\usetypescript [all] [latin-modern] [\defaultencoding]
\usetypescript[modern][\defaultencoding]
\setupbodyfont[modern]

\starttext

\"e\"u\"o\"a

\stoptext

technically one can also mix things but i leave that for the moment that lm has replaced cm. (first need to sort that out with plr)

Hans
