Bad way.
I substituted all the m-spec.mp I was able to find (2).I runned a texexec, obtained a new metafun.mem, and substituted the old one. Something changed, in the sense that I have no output at all: a blank page.

I'm getting really lost with all this unix-filename always repeating in different parts of the directory tree.
