Well, this seems to be the whole point of the spacing, it properly adds
what could be considered a narrow no-break space (&nnbsp;).

In any case, it isn’t a full-width space.

This is only my guess, but if you add an space, you may be on your own.

A way of having what you want would be to remove the space or write
`Pourquoi\nbsp ?`.
