Dear all,
This is not a bug report, but just for the record, for those of us who spend
our time adding alternate texts:
Alternative texts may not contain math (\im{}), but if you use parentheses,
they must be balanced:
\setupbackend[format=pdf/ua-2]
\setuptagging
[state=start,
preset=basic,
level=2,
option=interaction,
comment={Cows}]
\setupexternalfigures[location=default]
\starttext
\externalfigure[cow][width=5cm,alternativetext={Half-open interval (0,1]}]
\stoptext
VeraPDF aborts the validation and returns the cryptic message:
Exception: Caught unexpected runtime exception during validation caused by
exception: Error while parsing object : 26 0 caused by exception: invalid pdf
dictionary(object key = 26 0 obj, offset = 6789)
so it took me a while to track down the issue.
