VeraPDF aborts the validation and returns the cryptic message:
Exception: Caught unexpected runtime exception during validation caused by
exception: Error while parsing object : 26 0 caused by exception: invalid pdf
dictionary(object key = 26 0 obj, offset = 6789)
so it took me a while to track down the issue.
You can collect potential issues so that Mikael and I can look at it
when we're in the mood (better then do a few at the same time). We're
currently more into typesetting-fun-mode.
Wrt links: the tag spec is a conceptual mess in that department. We try
to get around it as good as we can. Just don't use too many special
references when tagging, play safe. After all, one can make a 'stupid'
tagged version and a 'nice and clever' untagged one. (Maybe we should
have some option to disable the tricky interactive features when tagging.)
