I should add that there is some useful documentation here regarding
indexing, even though it doesn't provide any guidance on how to use
“processor” (and the page that's supposed to provide detailed
information on \defineprocessor is really sparse!)

You're very welcome. I got a lot out of ANSS when I was a total
n00b, and
now that I'm just a semi-n00b, I still refer to it (well, I now refer to
ANSS-CE) every now and then.
While you are reading, if you see any typos or poorly-worded sentences,
please let me know and I'll (try to) fix them up.
Also, I'm always looking for other contributors. Maybe when you have
glossaries all figured out, you, Jean-Pierre D and Peter M could write a
"Glossaries" section for ANSS-CE. :-)
