Note: "under wine" means running a Windows program via the WINE translation layer so it is the Windows version of Acrobat Reader, not a native Linux/BSD/Unix application.

Adobe has stopped supporting Linux/BSD/Unix as of Reader 9.5. Fortunately, WINE provides a workaround.
