Hi,

i just installed nProbe pro (5.5_021210) and PF_RING (SVN rev. 4194)
on a fresh Debian AMD64 system. The kernel module works fine (at least
i can insert it ;-); also the e1000 drivers seem to work fine.
After that, i compiled nProbe pro, but autogen.sh says: "checking
Native PF_RING support... no missing "pro/pf_ring.h""
So i'm a bit confused where to get pf_ring.h - in the PF_RING package
there is a pf_ring.h in kernel/linux/ and a pfring.h in
userland/lib/. Creating the pro-directory and copying the pf_ring.h
from the kernel directoy seems not to work:
/bin/sh ./libtool --tag=CC --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.
-I. -I /lib/modules/2.6.26-2-amd64/source/include
-I/usr/local/include -I/opt/local/include -g -O2 -pipe
-I/usr/local/include -I/opt/local/include -g -O2 -pipe
-I/usr/local/include -I/opt/local/include -MT collect.lo -MD -MP -MF
.deps/collect.Tpo -c -o collect.lo collect.c
mkdir .libs
 gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I
/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-amd64/source/include -I/usr/local/include
-I/opt/local/include -g -O2 -pipe -I/usr/local/include
-I/opt/local/include -g -O2 -pipe -I/usr/local/include
-I/opt/local/include -MT collect.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/collect.Tpo -c
collect.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/collect.o
In file included from collect.c:23:
nprobe.h:1219: error: expected specifier-qualifier-list before 'pfring'
make[2]: *** [collect.lo] Error 1

Thanks in advance,
Chris
