As you have also done make install prior to compile nprobe right?
For binary:
I'm running ubuntu server 12.04 LTS / 64 bit
I found the binary section, but what's about the additional plugings?
I also own dns, mail,http ...
Yes of course. The fact that we have the stuff compiled is an evidence
that there is something wrong.
Can you please de-install PF_RING (no /usr/local....), download it from
SVN, compile it but not make install and then compile nProbe?
Thanks Luca

on 64 bit platforms we don't have problems either (i.e. we have binary
packages available at packages.ntop.org). What is the OS/version you
are using? Is /usr/local/lib/libpfring.so in sync with your PF_RING
module?

I update pf_ring before I tried to compile the nProbe stuff.
PF_RING Version : 5.5.1 ($Revision: 5827$)
Ring slots : 16384
Slot version : 14
Capture TX : No [RX only]
IP Defragment : No
Socket Mode : Standard
Transparent mode : No (mode 2)
Total rings : 8
Total plugins : 0
It seem that I have this problem only on the 64 Bit plattform.
I was able to compile nProbe without any problem on a 32 bit ubuntu .
Thanks for your help
Stefan
