Well, but there seam still to be an error in the config procedure.
Do you need some config for comparing so that we can track down this little error? Regards Stefan Von: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Im Auftrag von Luca Deri Gesendet: Donnerstag, 22. If instead you do not have anything installed but on your home you have a directory named PF_RING then nprobe will use that one Regards Luca On Nov 22, 2012, at 4:22 PM, [email protected] wrote: Hi Luca, I still own you an answer about the nprobe build problem. I figured out the following: If I move /usr/local/lib/libpfring.* to another directory before I start autogen.sh, I'm able to build nprobe. Of course I need to copy the library back to the origin place. Even if I execute "make clean" the build will be successful again. It seem, the autogen.sh has a problem with the dependencies. I will try the de-install pf_ring stuff this evening. I updated the pf_ring stuff this morning after I ran into this error the first time. That was my first guess . rev => 5827 As you have also done make install prior to compile nprobe right? For binary: I'm running ubuntu server 12.04 LTS / 64 bit I found the binary section, but what's about the additional plugings? I also own dns, mail, http . Yes of course. The fact that we have the stuff compiled is an evidence that there is something wrong. Can you please de-install PF_RING (no /usr/local....), download it from SVN, compile it but not make install and then compile nProbe? Thanks Luca
